Job Description

Document control for all related QA documents, undertaking an annual review of all QA documents, maintaining all audits and related certificates for customer needs and regulatory requirements, revising all Supplier Specifications and Product Descriptions semi-annually

Completion of certificates of analysis and positive release for company's products

Direct communication with QA teams at the China factory and third-party labs

Coordinating product samples to third party labs for QA assurance and global regulatory requirements

Reviewing in details all factory and third party QA-related report and summarizing and earmarking any issues for QA manager review

Monitoring and reporting on QC data trends and notifying QA Manager of any deviation from norms

Monitoring and documenting customer complaints and report to QA Manager as needed

Maintaining compliance with US FDA with regard to FSMA and FSVP regulations and new iterations of the FDA's Food Safety programs by direct correspondence and information sharing with China Factory QA

Managing and maintaining the non-GMO verification project website

Managing and maintaining external company required sites such as Trace Gains, Pepsi Ermd, Watchdox, etc

Communicating directly with tech staff (QA/QC/Process) at the China Factory to ensure that all QA Technical requirements are clearly understood, and deliverables meet expectations

Liaising QA/technical details with global distributors to ensure that tech requirements for samples and commercial products are understood and are met.

Coordinate technical information regarding new products and customer/distributor needs

Coordinate technical research with China Factory for customer questionnaires and audit corrective actions

Coordinates scientific/tech communications between principal scientists at SGF research/PD facilities

Qualifications and Requirements:

Min 3 years as a QA doc controller or similar QA related role in food manufacturing env with more than 20 SKU's

Pref a BSC in chemistry, biology, or similar in Western University system

Demonstrated knowledge of HACCP, GMP, GFSI SQF 2000 Level 3 and other equivalent industry QA standards

Preventive Control Quality Individual Accreditation (PCQI)

Spoken and written fluency in English and Chinese Mandarin

Ability to work under limited supervision using independent judgement and attention to detail

Good verbal and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
