Job Title: E-Rate Program Reviewer 1

FLSA: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $15.00



Location: Pharr/ Brownsville



Job Summary: The E-Rate Program Reviewer 1 processes E-Rate Program forms and transactions by following specific procedures, processes and guidelines.



Essential Job Duties:



* Conducts reviews and processes E-Rate Program forms, applications and invoices submitted by schools and libraries seeking funding commitments and payments for internet access, internal connections, basic maintenance of internal connections, and managed internal broadband services and equipment received for eligibility based on E-Rate procedures

* Communicates with applicants and other stakeholders through the EPC system, email, and by telephone to obtain the required documentation required to process applications, forms and invoices

* Utilizes E-Rate Procedures, job aides, checklists and other tools and documentation to process Program forms, applications and invoices according to Program rules and guidelines

* Performs quality reviews of applications, forms and invoices when required to ensure accuracy

* Escalates issues and questions as they arise when processing Program documents

* Upon completion of training and a 90 day probationary period of performance, employee must meet acceptable productivity and quality performance levels



Education and Experience Requirements:

* High School diploma or GED required with a minimum of two years of college preferred

* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially excel

* Strong knowledge in IT networks, infrastructure and/or broadband communications

* Strong analytical skills required with attention to detail

* Works on assignments that are routine in nature; however, ability to adjust to complexities in work assignments as they arise

* Acquires job skills and learns applicable policies and procedures to complete assignments.

* Able to read, understand & perform assignments within prescribed guidelines.

* Communicates routine information in a clear and accurate way with internal & external contacts.

* Excellent organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills

* Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment

* Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently

* Ability to type 20 WPM
