Job Description

The Creditor Insurance Specialist is responsible for the Creditor Insurance client experience. The Creditor Helpline is a specialized insurance call centre that works closely with partners and stakeholders across the bank - Product, Channel, Risk Management, Simplii , Technology and other groups - to drive overall insurance results. This department helps fulfill clients' protection needs with simple, convenient, accessible and affordable protection in the customers' channel of choice.



Some of the responsibilities:



* Provide factual information, including policy interpretation and procedural advice on creditor insurance products.

* Provide, superior client experience in the administration of creditor insurance products.

* Investigate and resolve escalations from branches, Client Care, Third Party Insurance Partners and creditor insurance clients.

* Inquiries may present unique applications, which require the incumbent to apply knowledge of external factors and internal factors (e.g. Practices, policies and principles) to develop win-win solutions for the client.

* Assist in removing client service and process inhibitors.

* Identify potential areas for improvement and provide feedback to Manager, to allow continuous improvement in handling of escalated issues through implementation of new processes, products and initiatives.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:



* Call Centre Experience

* Creditor Insurance knowledge is an asset

* Bilingual in French and English

* Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, internal and external.

* Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

* A demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in the assessment of risk and make comfortable in making decisions.

* Proven self-management skills in order to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

* Proficient computer skills. Ability to work in a windows environment (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access).

* Ability to contribute to a dynamic and fast paced environment, and work under pressure.

- 6 months contract to begin with - potential for permanency/extension

- Downtown Toronto

- Full-time hours (40 hours/week)

- Working hours: We need a commitment from 9 am - 8 pm, Mon-Fri.

- Pay Rate: $23.47/hour
