Job Description

We are currently looking for a Bilingual (FRENCH/ENGLISH) Credit Insurance Specialist for one of our clients in the banking industry downtown Toronto!

First.... Some important details:

Starting off as a one year contract with potential for extension!

Working hours: Mon-Fri Between 8:30 am and 6 pm.

Pay Rate: $26.29/hour

What would you be doing?

* Provide factual information, including policy interpretation and procedural advice on creditor insurance products.

* Investigate and resolve escalations from branches, Client Care, Third Party Insurance Partners and creditor insurance clients.

* Provide internal/external customers with specialized advice on creditor insurance products, based on analysis of the situation and the relevant concepts and policies. This information may be of a technical nature.

* Be the first point of escalation if the branch cannot achieve resolution of issues with creditor insurance client issues.

* Analyze the problem; decide upon the most appropriate solution available from a variety of options, taking into consideration the unique situational factors and existing procedures and policies.

* Effectively and efficiently provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended actions, and verify their understanding of the issues. This can be demanding when discussing unusual circumstances and situations when there can be distinct differences of opinion when dealing with dissatisfied external customers.

* Arrange an appropriate time to call back the client, if an issue requires additional time to investigate.

* Coach and support branches so that they can develop the knowledge needed to correct creditor insurance customer issues at the first point of contact, and take precautionary measures to prevent branches from repeating the same errors in the future.

* Perform assigned administrative duties in between calls and meet provided deadlines.

What kind of profile are we looking for?

* Call Centre Experience

* Creditor Insurance knowledge is an asset

* French - verbal and written is a must have

* Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service, internal and external.

* Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task.

* A demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment in the assessment of risk and make comfortable in making decisions.

* Proven self-management skills in order to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

* Proficient computer skills. Ability to work in a windows environment (Microsoft Word, Excel and Access).

* Ability to contribute to a dynamic and fast paced environment, and work under pressure.
