Manpower is currently seeking a Boring Mill Machinist for a long-term contract opportunity with our client located in Calgary, AB.

What will you be doing?
* Inspection, disassemble, reassemble, installation, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical equipment on site.
* Troubleshoot mechanical issues to identify problem and resolve.
* Safe lifting and rigging of large oversized industrial parts used in oilsands and mining industry.
* Experience with forklifts, rigging and overhead cranes.
* Plan, coordinate and manage the field service team's daily activities, including personnel, equipment/tooling, trucks, travel/accommodations, and parts.
* Ensure all timesheets for all employees are completed daily to allow payroll to be processed and customer billed in a timely manner.
What will you bring?
* Interprovincial Millwright diploma or Certified Engineering Technologist or equivalent is required, or Alberta Journeyman Millwright. Accepting 2nd, 3rd & 4th year apprentices
* A minimum of 2-5 years of technical field service experience within mechanical, structural, industrial or mining fields.

* Prior experience in slurry pump disassembly, evaluation, inspection, repair and reassembly is required.
