Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager for our Nutra Division who will have the following responsibilities
1.Manage sales across the assigned geographic territory to promote B2B agreements and further development of business in AZ, CO, TX, OK, FL, GA, NC, SC
2.Identify and engage prospective clients through research, direct approaches, attending conferences, recommendations, and other methods to target potential business
3.- Develop ideas for projects that deliver local appeal based on in-depth knowledge of the market and competition
4.- Work with management to set achievable regional targets and oversee the measurement and effectiveness of projects, adjusting if necessary, to improve local results
5.- Develop regional launch plans for new product releases, ensuring partners are apprised, engaged, and supportive
6.- Quoting and negotiating prices and terms, navigating through the client´s procurement process
7.- Report weekly on regional activities and performance
Requirements
1 Proven success at selling B2B Nutraceutical ingredients with an active business/customers' network
2 Results oriented, customer focused and with an effective and disciplined sales process, having the ability to cultivate relationships at all levels of maturity
3 Used to manage an annual Sales budget of $5M with a clear focus on profitability and accustomed to work and set objectives on Margin.
4 Master commercial process, from lead generation to data management in our CRM, showing proactivity to define and execute the right sourcing/bidding procedure in order to meet client's needs for new projects
5 Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and remotely (Home office).
6 Willingness to travel as the position will require customer's visits, trade shows and face to face meetings in HQ (New Jersey)
7 Must be a team player, open to collaborate with the rest of the company and enjoying being part of an established organization.
8 Excellent communication skills, used to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
9 Good organizational skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Sales Force.
10 Able to maintain the highest levels of integrity
