Job Description

General Description: Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing the procurement of orders for maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies, Capital Projects, service contractors and packaging products for plant locations. The goal is to reduce cost while meeting plant requirements. Responsible for selecting quality supplies and services for your location and any other locations assigned





* In accordance with established procedures, based upon quality, availability/delivery, past performance and pricing, procures maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) supplies, capital projects sourcing, Raw materials, and various services for primary location and any other sites assigned. These supplies must conform to established specifications and be purchased to create maximum value.

* Processes purchase orders and maintain order-related data within SAP i.e. Confirmations, Open order reporting, Spend reporting, Savings reporting, Non-conformance reporting, Usage reporting.

* Drive procurement excellence through managing key processes such as: WAT, Cost Savings, EBITDA impact, Supplier Development, Deep Dives, etc.

* Offer ideas to eliminate transactions and best practices to improve efficiency within the team



Education and Experience





* Degree in business, engineering or supply chain or demonstrated equivalency

* 3+ years of relevant experience in Purchasing in a manufacturing environment

* Expert with Microsoft office (Access, Outlook, Excel, Word), SAP and SAP Business Warehouse and document control software
