Our client, in the Steel Fabrication industry, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their team. As a CAD Designer, you will be part of the design team supporting production. The ideal candidate will have CAD, 2D & 3D design and SolidWorks knowledge which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CAD Designer

Location: Tampa, FL

What’s the Job?

• Precision CAD Drawings: Utilize SolidWorks to create precise CAD drawings for diverse steel fabrication projects.
• Print Review and Interpretation: Thoroughly review project prints and specifications, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
• Cost Estimation Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the General Manager (GM) to break down project quotes, providing accurate cost estimates.
• Workflow Management: Efficiently manage CAD design workflows, ensuring timely delivery of drawings to the shop.
• Quality Assurance and Improvement: Proactively work on quality enhancement and process improvement to maintain high standards.

What’s Needed?

• 1 year minimum of working CAD expirience 
• Knowledge of Steel Fabrication
• College degree or high school diploma preferred
• High attention to detail
• Great working attitude
