Job Description

Our client, located in Hamilton, is hiring hiring a CNC Setup person to work on 3rd shift. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $21.00.
 

What’s the Job?

• Set up and operate any and all CNC lathes and mills in a safe and efficient manner.
• Callup programs and set-up tooling for CNC lathes.
• Edit CNC lathe programs, as necessary.
• Measure parts and make tool corrections as CNC lathe is running production
• Perform daily upkeep and routine maintenance, keeping equipment and production area in good working order.

What’s Needed?

• Technical College or Equivalent Experience
• 1+ years of experience operating, setting up, and programming CNC mills and manual milling equipment
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and product specifications.
• Ability to use gages and measuring instruments such as micrometer calipers, etc.

What’s in it for me?

• $21.00 per hour
• 10pm-6am (SUN-THUR / overtime possible on Friday evening)
