Job Description Provides direct Client service, including verifying shipments, scheduling dock appointments, and problem solving for clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Calling, emailing carriers to verify shipments are on time. Calling, emailing customers to schedule dock appointments. Update information into system. Prepare required activity reports accurately and efficiently for site management. Coordinate all inbound and outbound activity for assigned accounts. Investigate and communicate client complaints in accordance with established site and company protocol. The handling of customer orders in the manner, which adheres to company procedures is an important responsibility. Other responsibilities include phone duties, greeting visitors, scheduling and other clerical duties.
