Job Description

Manpower of Rochester Hills is currently looking for skilled circuit board solderer's in Auburn Hills, MI. This is a temp to hire position, starting at $14/HR based on experience.

The associate will perform all soldering, bonding, wiring, routing, assembly, disassembly, touch up, rework, cleaning and minor modifications, assemblies and sub assemblies within the facility using electronic parts and components and a variety of hand tools.

* Will work from approved visual aids, change notices (CN's), deviations and routes and/or any engineer approved changes that apply to them.

* Be responsible for moving completed product to the next production operation.

* Use a variety of measuring instruments and equipment to perform visual and dimensional inspection of printed circuit boards, harnesses, sub assemblies, and assemblies.

* Inspects assemblies after machine soldering and completing required paperwork, logs, and records.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Responsible for soldering of electronic components into assemblies following J-STD-001 workmanship processes.

* Perform visual inspection of PCB's to lPC-A-6 l0 criteria. Assemble components and housing units in Client ordnance with routes, visual aides, change notices (C N' s) and deviations;

* Installs hardware such as: screws, washers, nuts and bolts, bending and trimming leads. Operate a Windows PC to access job documentation (visual aid, route, etc) and maintain required logs.

* Perform visual inspection of units for proper assembly, solder defects; damaged components, polarity and orientation to ensure workmanship standard s are met.

* Modify new and repaired units to the current revision per modification instructions. Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.

* Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor. additional duties may apply

Requirements: Familiar with Manufacturing Processes and Workmanship Standards.

* Ability to use various hand, air, and soldering tools.

* Ability to identify electronic components.

* Ability to frequently lift/carry products weighing up to 50 lbs.

* Ability to use manual dexterity and basic mathematics.

* Ability to work with a microscope and other magnification devices as needed.

* Ability to work with others and with minimum supervision.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: This position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity and the ability to follow directions. Must complete soldering training course and pass soldering proficiency test. Ability to maintain hourly run rates in a fast paced environment. Basic Math Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) training Electronic component identification training through hole solder training.
