Manpower is currently seeking a Commercial Sales Representative position to fulfill a long term contract position with a highly reputable client in Toronto, ON.

In this role you will report to the Canadian Sales Manager and will be responsible for creating new and managing existing accounts within the defined sales territory of Ontario. Your responsibilities will include:

* Successfully following up all leads to convert to profitable sales

* New account generation

* Developing and executing strategic plans that ensure account penetration and attainment of territory sales goals including volume and profit key performance indicators

* Preparing and executing sales proposals, communications, presentations and other customer correspondence

* Networking with key decision makers and industry contacts

* Performing 25-30 customer calls/week with a focus account acquisition, growth and building long term relationships

* Execution of strategies aimed at increasing market share and margins

* Analyzing reports to identify sales opportunities and track industry changes that may create opportunities and or pose threats

* Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing key accounts

* Focus on customer relationship management; pricing, problem resolution, cross commodity selling and proactive identification of issues and buying behaviors.

* Business travel within the territory is required; approximately 50-70% of time will be spent traveling

Required Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing

* Minimum 5 years of relevant professional sales experience in a commercial or industrial capacity

* Excellent communication, presentations and written skills

* Proven experience selling, cold calling, and closing techniques with a well-defined sales process

* Proven track record in outside sales consistently meeting all sales and profit targets

* Background in commercial fuel sales, trucking, credit card, or industrial supply industries

* Knowledge and familiarity with CRM software, including Salesforce

* Experience with financial analysis; margins, revenue, budgeting and forecasting

* Experience creating and managing sales contracts

* Intermediate to Advanced MS Office Suite skills

* Results driven; setting high standards, taking personal accountability and delivering on commitments

* Valid Driver's License and Clear Abstract
