Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Community and Indigenous Engagement Advisor position for our client, a multinational energy transportation company located in Fort St John, BC.

The Job:

· Developing and implementing strategies and protocols designed to deliver engagement with Indigenous and local communities

· Building sustainable long-term relationships, including economic development, cultural support, social responsibility

· Taking meeting minutes, providing strategic advice and generating material support for Indigenous matters

· Supporting innovative economic development solutions that will influence sustainable change throughout the organization



What you bring to the job:

· Previous experience in the Indigenous Engagement industry is a strong asset

· Computer skills (MS Office suite)

· Strong public speaking and relationship building capacity

· High-level communication skills (oral, written, listening)

· Availability to work overtime if needed and to travel occasionally to other locations in BC
