Manpower is currently seeking a Contracts Advisor for a contract opportunity with a major oil and gas client located in Calgary, AB.

What will you be doing?
* Develop go to market strategy, bid evaluation criteria and other commercial documents for all levels of complexity, integrating market intelligence, historical data and contract compliance information.
* Lead activities from start to finish, including issuance of bid packages, review of responses, analysis, facilitating evaluation process with multiple stakeholders and making recommendation on vendor selection.
* Apply analytical skills to assess competitiveness of supplier proposals and contracts. Leverage various cost models as applicable
* Develop negotiation strategy and lead negotiations for both commercial and legal terms
* Lead change management process for contracts; lead contract close-out process and ensure supplier performance feedback is gathered for future reference.
What will you bring?
* Eight (8) years of directly related professional experience and/or a combination of commercial and technical work experience
* Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Law
* Experience in contracts management, category management, strategic sourcing, and/or supply chain operations, with demonstrated capability in contract drafting and negotiation, review of legal terms and conditions, and supplier relationship and performance management
