Job Description
Manpower Engineering is seeking a Controls Technician for our client in Glasgow, KY. Responsible for the maintenance, repair, operations and functionality of electronic, mechanical robotic and pneumatic equipment. Direct hire, 1st shift opening with full benefits and annual bonus!
What you'll be doing:
* Responsible for PLC, HMI, CNC, vision and robotic programming of complex systems and automated equipment.
* Design, structure and format of PLC programming logic.
* Responsible for installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software.
* Ensure appropriate documentation of all Equipment programming and changes.
* Manage multiple projects with emphasis on completing task on time and within budget.
* Troubleshoots breakdowns in machinery and equipment. Including: ABB/Fanuc robots, CNC Machines, Vision Systems, and PLC Logic.
* Troubleshoot programmable logic controlled equipment, making repairs to control system.
* Troubleshoot electrical systems replacing or adjusting proximity switches and optic sensors (Keyence).
* Must be able to read & interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings for equipment
* Troubleshoot motors-single phase, three phase, and direct current.
* Follows all appropriate safety procedures including Lockout/Tag out.
Here's a summary of who we're seeking:
* Associates degree in Maintenance and Controls or 3 - 5 years' experience in Maintenance and Controls within Automotive Manufacturing (preferred)
* Must meet the requirements for Maintenance Technician Level 3
* Experience performing PLC, HMI, CNC, vision and robotic programming of complex systems and automated equipment.
* Ability to design, structure and format of PLC programming logic (not just resets and modifying logic).
* Experience with installation and technical support of PLC based hardware and software.
* Able to troubleshoot breakdowns in machinery and equipment, including: ABB/Fanuc robots, CNC machines, vision systems, and PLC Logic.
* Able to troubleshoot electrical systems replacing or adjusting proximity switches and optic sensors (Keyence).
