Job Description
* Gathers historical cost data to estimate time, labor, and material required to build and manufacture products and services.
* Investigates cost structures, pricing of new products and services.
* Ensures that cost is allocated according to established procedures.
* Communicates, presents, and explains complex cost analytics to top management.
* Ensures compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and other government agencies DCAA's/DCMA's audits and requests.
* Coordinates closely with internal engineers and materials department to determine adequate costing plan.
* Participates in the design and development of cost accounting/planning policies and procedures.
Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree in business administration / Finance
· 3-5 years of working experience with manufactured products cost estimate and analysis
· Knowledge of Prime Contract with the US Government and FAR rules & regulations and indirect applied rates.
· Prior experience working with Federal Acquisition Regulations and working knowledge of government agencies DCAA/DCMA audits and requests.
· Great mathematical skills to extract labor, material cost and ability to interact with government auditors.
· Good communication skills and ability to communicate with upper management and walk them through cost assumptions, as well as to establish good relationships with company engineers and material groups to obtain necessary information on a timely basis.
