* Job Description Summary



Responsible for all Customer File Maintenance, maintaining customer account files, department reporting and providing administrative support to the Credit Department. This position is responsible for supporting the collection of assigned accounts receivable and providing financial and analytic support to the assigned Account Executives, Marketing Associates and District Sales Managers. Briefly describe the major function of this position and the reason it exists. Summarize into two or three sentences.

Analyze current credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit. Prepare documents using this credit information for use in decision making. Make collection calls and monitor customer credit risks.

Primary areas of responsibility



*



* Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.

* Collects and monitor all assigned accounts for prompt payments. Continuous maintenance of assigned open receivables to achieve company acceptable Daily Sales Outstanding levels.

* Communicates with Marketing Associates, Account Executives and Sales Management to ensure prompt payment and discrepancies are resolved timely.

* Corresponds with customers in reconciling payments and accounts to resolve past due balances.

* Prepare month end and quarterly accounts receivable reports.

* Performs regular review of customer files and status of collections to ensure receivables are in sound condition.

* Set up, release, perform credit holds, and keep track of customer accounts.



Minimum Education

* HS diploma or GED

* Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred.



Minimum Experience

3 years of administrative experience

At least one year credit or collections experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

Proficient computer skills with emphasis on Word and Excel preferred.
