Customer Service Representative - $13/hour - Day Shift, Occasional Remote Work During COVID

Are you an experienced Customer Service Representative who can work in a team atmosphere, but also thrive independently? Do you have outstanding phone skills and enjoy data entry? Are you a reliable person with a desire to succeed? If so, a Manpower client in Des Moines has an immediate need for a Customer Service Representative.

What is the job?

* The Provider Services Enrollment representatives enroll new providers in the Medicaid program according to State and Federal regulations.

* The unit processes provider applications, processes background checks, maintains licensure verification for enrolled providers and enters and updates data in the provider master file on the Medicaid Managed Information System (MMIS).

* All provider changes such as address information, bank account information for EFT provider payment deposits, provider terminations and name changes are also entered into the MMIS system by the representative.

* Representatives also assist callers by answering questions relating to provider enrollment program policies, requirements, rules and procedures.

* The unit responds to email inquiries from providers for matters relating to the enrollment process.



What should you bring to the job?

* High school diploma.

* Reliability, punctuality and ability to follow a daily schedule for breaks and lunches.

* Demonstrated customer service skills.

* Calm and quiet workspace at home.

* Professional and friendly verbal and written communication skills.

* Ability to operate computer, telephone, fax machine, and scanner.

* Demonstrated typing proficiency.

* Ability to pass a Drug Screen and Background check.
