Job Description

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00/hr

Type: Permanent/Full-time



Manufacturing client in Orlando is looking for a talented and effective customer service representative who will receive incoming calls while making proactive inquiries to existing and potential customers to promote and serve our industry leading pet specialty products. This is an office position and commuting to their office in Orlando on a regular basis is required. Additional responsibilities will include but not be limited to order processing, addressing customer complaints, attending industry trade shows.



What you will do:

* Serve customers by promptly providing product and service information as well as answering questions and resolving issues via phone and email.

* Attract potential customers by informing them about products and suggesting them as new items or replacements of current in store programs.

* Open and maintain customer accounts and records by recording information in company software database.

* Acknowledge and resolve customer product or service problems by clarifying the complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.

* Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.

* Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

* Communicate with company managers and colleagues as necessary



What You Bring to the Job:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing (Spanish a plus)

* Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience

* Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point)

* Experience with sales type software a plus

* Previous experience with pet and or consumer products a plus

* Previous experience with small machine equipment or engraving a plus
