Job Description


The responsibilities of the Sales TeamSupervisor include, but are not limited to:

* Work and Complete task according to company and departmental procedures

* Maintain and improve procedures and departmental methods as necessary

* Regular, systematic contact with customer contacts via telephone, e-mail and fax

* Systematic daily verification of customer requirements as declared on the customer's Web EDI system

* Validation of customer requirements against contractual and forecast obligations and against stock availability and production capacity

* Communication and liaison with Planning department to ensure follow-up of the order processing

* Follow-up on receipt of orders and sales in comparison with planning and reporting to management

* Preparation of documentation associated with each order including the preparation and sending of invoices

* Preparation and submission of Customer Logistics Forms as part of PPAP preparation and in the case of the request for modification of product packaging and labeling by the customer

* Track delays in deliveries to customers, subsidiaries, and warehouses abroad

* Compile and maintain department's daily and weekly operations reports Orient new employees to the department through preparation, implementation, and monitoring of training plans

* Annual and periodic evaluation of team members, including annual feedback through Employee Performance Appraisal process

* Participate in the planning of annual departmental budget (salaries, equipment, training)

* Support Sales Team to maintain pricing files up-to-date in ERP system (MOVEX)

* Support Sales Team to maintain Rolling Budget forecast figures in ERP system (MOVEX) up-to-date for a rolling period of 24 months.

Knowledge and Skills:

* Good communication - with colleagues, customers, and suppliers

* Excellent performance under stressful conditions

* Highly self-motivated

* Ability to manage staff and work in a team setting

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Fluent in spoken and written English, other languages are a plus, but not required

* Knowledge and experience in international trade is a plus, but not required


* Approve or reject customer orders or request to change orders

* Schedule and approve all inbound stock
