Designer and Sales Representative - Langley



Do you have experience working with designing cabinetry or spaces? Are you a driven individual who enjoys networking with people? Are you looking to take your career to the next level? Manpower has an immediate opening for a Designer and Sales Representative for our renowned client in Surrey, BC.

Full time position: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM 40 hours per week



Rate of pay: Base salary for probation period, and then Commission after (OTE $70,000K)

What is the job?

- Prospect and engage with new potential clients focusing on homeowners and builders to determine needs, preferences, safety requirements, and purposes of space.

- Develop detailed plans and 3D models using computer-assisted design 20/20 software and graphic software.

- Develop plans, elevations, cross sections and detailed drawings, and advise on selection of colours, finishes, and materials.

- Coordinate and work with other Sales/Design professionals and provide support when required.

- Generate leads by reaching out to diverse markets and turn these leads into sales.

- Adopt excellent communication methods and effective sales methodologies.

- Build a strong network by attending industry events, trade shows, and conferences to stay up to date with current and upcoming trends, market conditions, etc.

- Track and report: sales, quotes, and leads on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, discussing and reviewing these with your team lead.

- Manage incoming calls, utilizing computer technology to handle high call volumes.

- Generate quotes using QP software.

- Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's query; determine the cause of the problem; select and explain the best solutions to solve the problem; expedite corrections or adjustments; follow up to ensure resolution.

- Ensure showroom is in clean and operational condition.

- Promote company's core values, mission, and vision at every opportunity.



What do you bring to this role?



- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Previous experience or knowledge of the 20/20 design software is a requirement.

- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.

- Solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

- Well organized problem solver with sharp detail-oriented abilities.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
