Director, Online Admissions (Sales Manager)



Are you an ambitious individual who enjoys leading others to success? Do you have a proven track record in sales? Manpower is seeking a Sales Manager for our client located in Burnaby, BC.



Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year



About the position:



You will be working for one of the leading career training educational institutions in Canada, which bolsters quality education to further the success of its students. As Director, Online Admissions (Sales Manager), you will be overseeing the Admissions Team which helps to match prospective students with appropriate programs and courses that align with their educational goals.



The purpose of the Director, Online Admissions (Sales Director) is to provide leadership to their team and is responsible for management and administrative duties related to engagement development, on-going call coaching and mentoring, and individual program performance metrics in the Online Admission (Sales Team) division.



Job Responsibilities



* Successfully lead, training and develop a team of 50+ individuals (admissions staff) at the campus and ensure their professional and personal development.

* Responsible for implementation and coordination of strategies, information, and procedures necessary for the admission team to perform their jobs efficiently.

* Understanding industry best practices and takes initiative to implement new strategies where necessary.

* Set expectations for admission team by providing coaching and counseling, communicating performance metric expectations, and administering disciplinary action when necessary.

* Present a professional, polished, and positive image both internally and externally.

* Communicate effectively in person, via phone and through written means (such as email, text, etc.)

* Responsible for statistical analysis and strategic planning on attaining monthly and annual sales goals and targets established.

* Communicate with internal leadership on regularly scheduled project status calls.

* Manage complex daily activities including maintaining records to contribute to the administrative function of the campus.

* Other related duties as assigned.



The right candidate will possess the following:



* Degree or diploma in Sales, Advertising or a related field.

* A minimum of 5 years sales experience preferred.

* Proven sales performance history.

* Proven success in mentorship, training, or management.

* Ability to inspire, support and lead team members in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and to make sure pressing matters are dealt with in a timely manner.

* Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

* Ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals (staff, students, colleagues, etc.) with integrity, empathy and sincerity.

* Superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task.

* A motivated self-starter and innovative problem-solver.

* Willingness to learn industry best practices and processes.

* Must be deadline driven and goal-oriented.

* A positive attitude and customer focused approach.

* Ability to act with tact, good judgment, and discretion.

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.

* Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.

* Must be able to work in an environment where the noise level is moderate.
