Director of Materials Management and Procurement

* Lead and develop a highly talented supply chain leadership team by providing direction and guidance as well as setting clear performance expectations and coaching for excellence

* Work with senior leaders to accomplish organizational goals

* Collaborate with other divisions such as field operations and finance to drive cross-functional alignment

* Lead team to identify opportunities to develop, improve or simplify processes, guidelines and policies for effective supplier management practices, order fulfillment, inventory management and logistics activities

* Build and develop relationships at the executive level with suppliers and partners to ensure contractual commitment, alignment and accountability

* Lead team members' professional growth and development to ensure each individual's competencies are aligned with organizational goals and objectives


* 10+ years of supply chain management experience on a global scale

* 5+ years of building, leading, and developing teams

* Bachelors degree or higher in relevant field

* Proven ability to define expectations in ambiguity and influence change at all levels within an organization

* Strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, attention to detail, and ability to multitask

* Strong verbal communication skills with demonstrated abilities to engage and influence senior executives

* Strong negotiation skills - able to forge strong relationships and maintain credibility internally and with suppliers
