What the job is:
* Manage daily operation activities: shipping, transport, warehouse, distribution sourcing, and inventory control
* Plan, schedule, and review workload and workforce to meet targets while being cost effective
* Coordinate and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers
* Track quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency
* Supervise, coach, and train warehouse employees
* Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performances and implement improvements
* Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
What you bring to the job:
* BS in Business Administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain
* Prior work experience as a Logistics Manager
* Proficient in standard logistics software programs
* Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, lift, and sit at a computer throughout work shift
* Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds at times
