Temp to hire position

* Location: 175 Penniman Circle, Brunswick, GA 31523
* Pay rate: $15.00

CORE DUTIES:

* Drive vehicles to and from the customer and strategic parking for production flow as well as storage until shipment
* PDI will install accessories on vehicles such as: remote tailgate locks, lighted running boards, illuminated kick plates, step-rails, splash guards, camper shells, decals, bed liners, and other accessories specified by the customer
* Move completed vehicle out of production building
* Adheres to all safety and vehicle damage prevention procedures, including speed limits, uniform, and personal protective equipment requirements.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Knowledge of use of hand tools.
* Basic computer and mechanical skills
* Ability to read, write and understand detailed instructions in English
* High School diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
* Valid driver license and safe driving record
* Lift up to 25lbs
* Must be able to work OT and weekends as needed.
* TWIC badge is MANDATORY

* Occasional overtime

What will you be doing?


* Transporting vehicle from one location to the next
* Installing accessories on vehicles and removal of tapes, plastic stickers and markings, perform and record inspections as required by vehicle manufacturers
* Place all accessories in vehicles, check all interior electrical components such as electronics, seat belts, seats, etc.
* Program key fobs, check all interior and external lights.
