Electrical Mechanical Technician WANTED in SCHUYLKILL COUNTY!!!
The Electrical Mechanical Technician (EMT) works as part of a team responsible for maintaining all electrical and mechanical equipment necessary to operate the facility to produce decorative laminate films. This technician will be assigned to work alone or with a group depending on the job requirements and be an active participant in plant safety. This position will work from a daily schedule, however must be flexible depending on our schedule to meet customer requirements.
Your Primary Responsibilities…
Actively involved with safety activities to support positive safety culture.
Inspect, test and perform preventative maintenance to specified equipment for production or building services.
Rebuild equipment as necessary, e.g. pumps/rolls/gear-reducers/rotary unions/blowers/choppers/fans/air shafts/clutches.
Analyze and troubleshoot machinery or process problems as necessary.
Have a working knowledge of all procedures necessary to perform the following;
Safety First - Demonstrate/perform a commitment to safety by actively participating in training, working safely, and continuously working to improve the work environment.
Make determinations on equipment malfunctions, solves problem and recommend solutions for electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems.
Perform skilled duties on, but not limited to motors, drives, converters, controllers, circuit boards, relays, electronic or electrical components, power distribution systems, lighting, HVAC and general building utility services.
Plan, layout, estimate and implement minor and major repairs, changes or installations as needed.
Work from schedules, drawings, schematics, manuals, written and verbal instructions with standard maintenance practices to provide timely service to all departmental equipment.
What We Need From You…
Associates Degree/Certificate: Electro-Mechanical Maintenance 2 year program
Prefer 3+ years experience as a Electro-Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment
Available to work all shifts as needed.
Demonstrated ability to function as part of a team in a high performance work environment
Mechanical aptitude
Able to regularly climb stairs and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
Forklift certified or ability to obtain certification.
