Manpower Professional is recruiting a talented, experienced Electrical Engineer who will design lighting, fire alarm, electrical power, security, and technology systems with nominal supervision to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Development of conceptual building power systems and lighting design layout per clients objectives
Design layouts with fire alarm, receptacle, data, lighting, and power distribution systems
Understand and review building and electrical codes for design verification
Write technical specifications writing
Design in current REVIT and/or AUTOCAD software
Create coordination reports and clash detection via Navisworks
Calculate Electrical loads per National Electric Code
Design to meet or exceed building codes, standards and procedures
Contribute to team efforts, continuous professional skill development to build upon energy efficient design for buildings.
Perform inspections and review equipment submittals during the construction phases
Train less experienced team members in routine technical design and company procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or related field
5-7 years of experience as an electrical designer performing the duties listed above.
Qualified to obtain a Professional Engineer License
Experience with SpecLink, Visual 2012
Experience with Power Tools or ETAP modeling software
Experience in AutoCAD, MEP, and REVIT
Thorough understanding of power, lighting, fire alarm, security, and technology design for commercial buildings.
Ability to design, draft and observe construction for all aspects of electrical systems.
Ability to work productively in a collaborative work environment.
Valid Driver's License is required
