Job Description

Our client that specializes in providing maintenance services to commercial and industrial businesses is looking for an Electrical Preventative Maintenance Manager to focus on planning and overseeing preventative maintenance for various plants and buildings predominantly within the GTA.



Good role for those Maintenance Managers that have been retired and want to stay busy or those Maintenance Managers that want off the tools!!



If you're a Licensed Electrician who holds an Electrical Engineering Degree, and has at least 5 years of experience with organizing preventative maintenance, then look no further.



In this ADMINISTRATIVE ROLE, you will be the go-to person for putting together PM schedules for various locations and being the main POC for the clients you serve with regards to maintenance projects.

The Role:

* Act as the main point of contact for implanting and managing Preventative Maintenance programs as it relates to electrical in commercial and industrial facilities

* Organize maintenance schedule with vendors and report action items; process maintenance schedules

* Review equipment at various sites and develop and implement the Electrical PM Plan (EPMP) as per the Master Service Agreement (MSA) .

* Create/implement schedules and work orders in the CMMS system

* Review sites as part of Operational Compliance Program to ensure adherence to code

* Review reports/WO for completeness/accuracy and assist Facility Managers in implementing the corrective maintenance needed

* Update tasks and schedules in the Electrical program and/or changes to electrical code/legislative requirements.

* Source/provide costing, scope, and identify qualified vendors

* Identifying Change Requests needed to capture addition scope and cost.

* Review current asset portfolio to identify needed projects as dictated by age/wear/excessive operation cost of equipment for upgrade/replacement projects as part of Capital Planning. Work with Facility Manager to provide documents necessary to justify the capital expenditure.

* Update of CMMS system to reflect and record equipment/asset upgrades, attribute changes, additions or replacements.

* Participate in budgeting process for annual budgeting and reforecasts and adherence to budgeted allowances.



You Bring:

* 5 - 10 years related management experience.

* Electrical License (309A or 442A) AND Electrical Engineering degree or diploma

* hands on experience creating/implementing/maintaining PM schedules

* proficient with CMMS and/or work order systems

* strong communication, leadership, and computer skills

* confident with budgeting
