What is the role?

 

• Select, install and maintain power distribution systems by performing the following: lays out, assembles, installs electrical fixtures, apparatus, control equipment, and wiring for electrical systems. Plans installations from blueprints, sketches, and specifications. Measures, cuts, threads, bends assembles and installs conduits and electrical enclosures.
• Listens and observes for unusual sounds and motions from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with Team Leaders, machine operators, set up persons or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Tests electrical and electronic equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of systems to diagnose cause of malfunction and repairs or replaces faulty component(s).
• Tests components and circuits to locate defects using multi meters, oscilloscopes, wave form generators, storage scopes.
• Knowledge on Robotics and its troubleshooting.
• Knowledge on control circuits, AC/DC drives, PLC’s
• Aligns, adjusts, and calibrates equipment according to specifications.
• Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Performs program modifications to improve and correct machine operations as assigned. (excluding safety circuit modifications with out proper approvals). Document and communicate all changes.
• Maintains records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.

2+ years in a similar role
