Job Description

General Information/Responsibilities

Under limited supervision, performs a variety of technician related functions in producing electronic parts, and subassemblies including troubleshooting of electronic PCA's. Performs various electronic assembly operations on components or subassemblies including tuning of radar antenna PCA's. Uses visual aids, wiring instructions, schematics and/or receives general verbal or written work instructions and work assignments. May use various types of hand tools to accomplish tasks. Performs shipping and receiving of finished goods and parts. Inspects incoming materials per engineering prints and written instructions.

Job Functions

* Tuning of radar antenna PCA's

* Troubleshooting and rework of PCA's

* Inspects product for quality conformance using PWO, PSO, TSO, SWO, BOM or Deviations

* Solders wiring, components, etc., on PCA's

* Applies IPC inspection standards to work performed

* Uses standard tools common to electronic assembly: soldering irons, measuring instruments, microscopes, ESD equipment.

* Assembly of prototypes for Engineering

* Receiving goods and incoming inspection

* Shipping of finished goods and parts

* May operate equipment and record data common to printed circuit assembly manufacturing: Electric screwdrivers, Impact Tester, Temperature Test Chambers, and test equipment

* Work tasks are generally complex in nature and require significant attention to detail

* Conforms to company policies and rules; follows ESD policy requirements

Job Specific Training/Skills

Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and lift boxes of up to 25lbs. Excellent manual dexterity required. Ability to understand work assignments through written and visual documentation and/or verbal instruction. Must be a team player, prompt, efficient and dependable.


High school diploma or equivalent required. Four or more previous years' experience in an electronics manufacturing environment required.
