Job Description

Manpower Staffing is currently recruiting JM Electronic Techs for our client based out of Grande Prairie. Shop and Field opportunities are available. Shop employees must be local to GP and schedule is 10X4. Field positions are 2X2 and accommodation is provided.

Scope of work:

Performs preventative maintenance as required. Perform quality checks according to procedure and repairs equipment in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Must have electronics background, i.e., military, vocational, oilfield.

* Strong team-player Primary Responsibilities:

* Ensures proper start-up of all software and communications with all equipment.

* Visually inspects all cables.

* Communicates with frac supervisor prior to start-up.

* Expected to be attending to all equipment by walking around visually inspecting operation.

* The E-Tech responsibility is with the equipment

* Communicates any deficiencies to frac supervisor.

* Performs repairs to equipment.

* Ensures proper LOTO procedures are followed.

* Walk site to ensure that all equipment is properly shut-down and turned off.

* Assist in housekeeping before leaving location.

* Communicates any deficiencies to frac supervisor.

Working Conditions/Environment:

* Regularly operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, outdoor and indoor.

* Regularly exposes to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise
