Job Description

Manpower is currently seeking a Engineer in Training (EIT) I for an opportunity with a major oil and gas client located in Edmonton, AB.

What will you be doing?



* Works under the direction of Leak Detection subject matter experts and Project Managers.

* Accountable for configuring, maintaining, and quality assurance testing leak detection Computational Pipeline Monitoring (CPM) systems and related technologies.

* Performs statistical analysis of large data sets.

* Performs routine maintenance tasks on leak detection models which includes reviews of alarms, displays, overrides, model diagnostics, and data files.

* Performs datapath commissioning.

* Performs updates to model configurations.

* Support the Development and updating rollout plans.

* Creates/updates procedures and training materials.

* Provides forecasts for work tasks, and provides progress updates.



What will you bring?



* EIT or University Business degree Graduate and 1-2 years' experience OR an equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

* Ability to think analytically and perform detailed analysis on large sets of data.

* Able to coordinate multiple projects with defined timelines.

* Knowledge in pipeline Hydraulics and computer programming experience, is a definite assett.

* Knowledge or experience using real-time transient model software and/or statistical.
