Structural Designer
Downtown Frederick
***This is a FT Perm position***
Do you have architectural or structural design experience? Are you interested in working for a growing business in downtown Frederick? In this position, you'll be responsible for drafting and designing structural building details of residential and light commercial structures. You'll also:
* Use software to calculate load calculations
* Occasionally visit job sites in the DMV
* Draft structural plans using AutoCAD
* Develop an in-depth knowledge of building codes and industry principles
* Produce production paperwork and construction layouts
Interested? Well qualified candidates will bring:
* AutoCAD and MS office proficiency
* An Engineering degree would be a plus
* Previous experience in construction and building design preferred
* A strong attention to detail and accuracy
* An interest in the construction industry

* A base pay of $50k-$80k, could be higher with related industry experience
