Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Supports internal customers (i.e. Engineers, Plant Managers, Operations, etc.) by overseeing EHS programs as assigned.
* Perform assigned duties as specified by EHS Manager including, but not limited to:
* Support and/or Oversight of the Hazardous, Industrial Solid waste and water programs
* Support and/or Oversight of Air compliance program - Title V Compliance, Title V and PSD permitting, reporting, LDAR, Ozone Depleting Substances, RMP, Tier II and SARA TRI program and EHS program development
*
* Work with operations, maintenance and engineering on activities or projects as directed
* Participate in PSM related areas such as Process Hazard Analysis and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews.
* Perform periodic inspections
* Maintain inventory records, checklists, etc. associated with air, water and waste programs, etc.
* Assist in development and improvement of site EHS department
* Assist EHS, Operations, and Safety on new employee and periodic environmental awareness training
* Participate as a member of HazMat or emergency response team
* Interaction with State and/or Federal regulators during site inspections
* Become VelocityEHS (EHS&S EMS software) Super User
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, Environmental engineering/science or other related science field.
* 2 to 10 years applicable experience. Air permitting and compliance, water permitting and compliance, industrial solid and hazardous waste, RMP/PSM program, ACC RCMS program.
* Hazwoper, DOT, and RCRA training and experience.
* Ability to work independently
* Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills

* Basic knowledge and experience working with plant EHS and Operations
* Comfortable in fast-paced environment.
