A global leader in precision, engineered metal components and products manufacturing is looking to bring on an Estimator to their team!
Job Summary
The Estimator is responsible for preparing and coordinating the preparation of full estimates on large and complex projects as required by customer's documents and provides complete conceptual and total bid price.
Essential Functions
* Reviews and evaluates requests for estimates
* Analyzation of blueprints or CAD models, specifications, materials for customer Quotations
* Preparation of quotes including process cycle time, cost and labor estimates for manufacturing component parts and assemblies
* Reviews estimates for completeness and accuracy
* Develops special gaging and tooling as needed
* Consults with customers, suppliers and other individuals to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
* Develop and maintain resource information on products, vendors, subcontractors, government requirements, etc.
Required
* High School Diploma or equivalent GED
* 2 years of related experience
* Experience with geometric tolerances and close tolerance manufacturing processes
* Extensive knowledge of metals and CNC Manufacturing techniques
* Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Outlook
* Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
* Bachelor's Degree
* 4 years of related experience
* Manage 2000 experience
