Job Description

This position is a 12 hour rotating schedule: 4 nights (Fri - Mon), 3 days (Fri - Sun), 3 nights (Tues - Thurs), 4 days (Mon - Thurs) and then have 7 days off before they start back with the next rotation.



Extruder Operator Trainee must demonstrate ability to understand the technical aptitudes necessary to start and operate an extrusion line. Trainee should exhibit work traits indicating that they are able and willing workers. Trainees should maintain a good attitude and morale toward their job and fellow employees

Responsibilities -



* Demonstrate capability to follow specific instruction and learn elements of the operation

* Exhibit ability and willingness to follow supervision on job assignment

* Establish an acceptable attendance record

* Demonstrate potential to become a qualified extruder operator after 60 days on the job

* Should exhibit mathematical skills necessary to perform certain calculations and formulas as used in the extrusion area

* Must possess mechanical skills consistent with those required to operate and maintain an extrusion line

* Should exhibit manual dexterity skills to a level which would allow efficient string-up and doffing of an extrusion line

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Must be physically capable of lifting 25 pounds over their head, lifting 60 pounds 5 feet high, and transporting, via pallet jack, 2500lbs
