Job Description
Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor, the warehouse worker will perform various receipt, inventory and issue point related tasks in accordance with cGMP standard operating procedures. Warehouse tasks will include: truck unloading and load verification, completion of all written documentation and SAP data entry in support of receipts, relocations, inventory and issuance of all warehoused raw materials and operational stock. On a voluntary basis, the warehouse worker is expected to frequently contribute to and occasionally lead continuous improvement activities in the areas of safety, Lean and Six Sigma. General light housekeeping is performed on a daily and/or as needed basis.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties
Must be able to work well with and coach other employees.
Operate a 4 wheel sit-down forklift.
Verify and check all vendor deliveries and transfer requests for accuracy and correct mistakes when necessary.
Knowledge of lot number sequence and FIFO.
Pull transfer orders.
Off-load freight trailer deliveries using sit down forklift.
Deliver transfer orders to manufacturing areas using both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Set up and load trailers.
Interface in a professional manner with drivers, warehouse employees and office personnel.
Perform housekeeping tasks.

Expertise: Qualifications - Experience/Training/Education/Etc
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 12 months of warehousing experience.
2-4 years forklift experience.
Must pass 7 year criminal background check.
Must pass drug screening.
Desired:
Expertise: Knowledge & Skill Requirements
Complete knowledge of lot number, catalog number system and FIFO.
Knowledge of client's material flow.
Basic math aptitude for calculation of quantities.
Ability to read, write and communicate both verbally and written in English.
