Job Description

Our team has an exciting new open for a Facilities Engineering Manager in New Hope, MN. This individual directs installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of all equipment, buildings, and grounds necessary for continuity of manufacturing operations and safety of plant personnel. Staff includes engineers, other support personnel, and contractors.



Key Responsibilities



* Prepares designs and specifications and estimates costs for internal or contracted renovations, modifications, expansions, or installation of plant facilities and utilities.

*

* Establishes preventive maintenance and service programs, procedures, and record systems to audit the performance of services.

*

* Develops and maintains a program for efficient production and use of power, water, and gas, and provides instructions and procedures to ensure the program's continued usefulness.

*

* Responsible for overseeing and maintaining critical site utilities, including purified water systems, boilers, chillers, air compressors, etc., and the building management system.

*

* Provides engineering and cost advice about plant facilities related to the short and long-term needs of the business.

*

* Assures compliance with national, regional, and local insurance ordinances, regulations, and codes.

*

* Responsible for site metrology department, ensuring all site equipment is setup and calibrated to maintain compliance at the appropriate frequencies.

*

* Leads a team responsible for facility operations, including engineering, maintenance, metrologists, facility supervisors, and contractors.



Minimum Requirements



* Typically a minimum of 6 years in the field and 2 years supervisory experience.

*

* Engineering or similar technical degree required.

*

* Experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment preferred.
