What is the job?

Responsible for providing technical assistance in conducting laboratory fiber optic tests with competency and accuracy.

Assist with day to day activities within the lab with minimal supervision.

Assist with maintaining equipment as well as keeping the lab space clean and safe.

Perform testing, which includes being knowledgeable in basic fiber handling and fiber management techniques, understanding optical measurement types and specifications for tests conducted.

Equipment and Lab Maintenance, which includes performing routine instrument maintenance and maintaining a clean, healthy and safe work environment



What do you bring to the job?

Lab experience a must

Prefer a BS or Assoc in Chem, Biology or other sciences; HS/GED ok with relevant work experience

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in MS Excel, and an understanding of lab safety.
