Manpower Staffing if currently recruiting for a Field Engineer Trainee for our client a global oil and gas company with a shop located in Nisku.
Schedule is 3 weeks on/1 off in winter and in summer 2 weeks on/1 off. Travel is required and accommodation and per diem is provided. Role is contract to permanent.
The Field Engineer Trainee is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The Field Engineer Trainee identifies opportunities to improve service delivery,implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

* Verify and Prepare Resources at Product Line Location
Additional Responsibilities:
* Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
* Execute service delivery to the customer.
* Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
* Assist the Design/Technical Engineer with implementing technical programs and bids.
* Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
* Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
* Lead Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
* Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
* Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
* Maintain the required safety training.
* Provide backup to the Job Delivery Lead and PSD Managers in their absence.
* Will need to be local to Nisku area as will be on call and also will need to go into shop for supplies to prepare for job and then go to job site which may include overnights in which hotel and meals will be provided.
Qualifications:
* Engineering degree
* 2-3 years experience in engineering role
* Class 3 commercial license would be an asset
* Complete drug, alcohol, medical testing and Criminal Record Check
