Job Description


To properly perform any finish line job by producing quality product, while ensuring a proper production



1. Slicing all products (pies, cakes, bars, brownies, etc.)

2. Operating all equipment (assembles, utilizes, and disassembles)

3. Finish all pies, cakes, brownies, (includes frosting, decoration)

4. Pie pressing (including, but not limited to, scaling dough and ensuring accurate weights, operating pie press machine)

5. Taking temperatures of products to be processed and pulled from freezer

6. Carry out any prep work that is needed to complete or start a job that is assigned

7. Must be able to operate and assemble all slicing equipment and packaging machinery (including food tools, slicers, Weldon shrink wrap machine, spray glaze machine, pie pressing machine, electric scales, depositors, pumps, and hand jacks)

8. Make boxes and pack cases

9. Cleaning work area (including, but not limited to, removing buckets/pans from around machine and removing trash, and cleaning depositing equipment)

10. Must be able to perform job duties as assigned at a pace that is consistent with the pace that is set by the Manager/Supervisor and Team Leader of the line

11. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area

12. Participate in the GFSI/FSSC22000 yearly audit and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions

13. Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)

14. Must adhere to the plant's HACCP plans

15. Other duties may be assigned


1. Must communicate with others to ensure proper production flow to avoid line downtime

2. Must communicate with appropriate personnel to ensure quality of finished product

3. Job tasks will be performed in a safe and professional manner and oriented to prevent the

disruption of the production line

4. Assist in the training of temporary employee(s) on the line


1. Must possess good interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with others

2. Ability to promote teamwork

3. Must be willing and able to cross-train

4. Must be able to operate manual pallet jacks in a safe manner

5. Must be able to operate elevator properly & safely

4. Some lifting occasionally could lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally, something may weigh

more than 50 pounds and assistance must be utilized.

5. Ability to do overhead lifting and bending

6. Possessing normal to excellent manual dexterity and motor skills

7. Possessing good eye-hand coordination
