Job Description

Manpower Engineering is looking for an Account Manager to join our client's sales team. This role will see you network and sell to manufacturers and brand owners across North America, with a portfolio of innovative flexible packaging. The focus of this role is centered around client's North American customers, but you may have the opportunity to work with our international teams across Japan and Vietnam. This person can be located anywhere in the US near a major airport.

Summary of what you will be doing:

* Grow profitable sales revenue within a defined territory

* Meet or exceed mutually agreed upon sales quota

* Respecting and adhering to high standards of quality and performance

* Participate in market research, competitive analysis and strategic planning

* Attend industry events: trade shows, conferences

* Travel throughout assigned territory in US and Canada. Possibly, some overseas travel.

* Support colleagues as required

Here's a summary of who we're seeking:

* Experience in custom/flexible packaging industry

* 3+ years B2B consultative sales & business development experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Science or Technology highly preferred

* Comfortable in a complex sales environment

* Full sales cycle experience (prospecting, proposal, delivery)

* Project management experience

* Self-motivated and strong relationship building skills

* Able to travel 20-40%, up to 50%, within Canada, US

* Familiarity with consumer packaged goods (CPG), branding and marketing an asset
