Job Description

Our client,  a world-class producer of airplane engine components is seeking a Forge Helper to join their team. As a Forge Helper, you will be part of the Forge Department supporting the press, furnace, die step, and conditioning areas. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, be able to work in extreme heat, and maintain high level of safety awareness which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:  Forge Helper

Location:  Midway, GA

Pay Range: $19.00/hour

What’s the Job?

• Set up, lube and forge aluminum metal airplane engine parts.
• Majority of the day is spent in the press, furnace, die step and conditioning areas.
• Work in a teamwork environment training to be a Forging Helper, Jr. 

What’s Needed?

• Ability to work in extreme heat
• High School Diploma/GED
• Ability to work 12 hours shifts
• Understanding of the importance of attendance, reliability and dependability.
• Safety focused
