Our client, a global leader in food service distribution; is seeking Fresh Cut Associates to join their team. As a Fresh Cut Associate you will be part of the PM Production Team. The ideal candidate will have able to work evening hours.
Job Title: Fresh Cut Associates - 2nd. Shift
Location: Laurel, MD.
Pay Range: $15.50 per hour.
What’s the Job? Assures that produce of the highest quality is made ready and available for the day's runs an at acceptable productivity levels. This position predominantly works the night shift.
- Prepares, cuts, and repacks fresh produce per customer specifications.
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the work area.
- Operates simple machinery as vegetable peelers, cutters, bag sealers and others.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety procedures for handling and production to SQF (safe quality food) standards.
What’s Needed?
- Prefer High School or GED but not required.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs boxes of fresh produce.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to work in a cold environment,
