Manpower is currently seeking a GIS Technician for a long term contract position in Calgary.



Quality control of incoming data

*Preparation of data for AT

*Preparation and quality control of DEM

*Performing aerial triangulation

*Creation and quality assurance of stereo imagery

*Creation and quality assurance of ortho-rectified imagery

*Quality Assurance of ortho-rectified imagery

*Assisting in product deliverables to clients

Assist scientists, technologists, and related professionals in building, maintaining, modifying, and using geographic information systems (GIS) databases. May also perform some custom application development and provide user support. Alternate job titles include: Geographic Information Systems Analyst (GIS Analyst), Geographic Information Systems Specialist (GIS Specialist), Geographic Information Systems Technician (GIS Technician), Cartographer, Geographic Information Systems Coordinator (GIS Coordinator), Technical Support Specialist.
