Job Description
Our client located in Blyth is adding a tech to their team. The Propane Service Technician is responsible for handling installation or service calls.
Responsibilities:
*Installation and Maintenance of all types of Propane / Oil fired appliances and storage equipment.
*Provide service and maintenance to all brands of heating/cooling equipment in the field, with senior level troubleshooting experience.
*Ability to work "on call" shifts during regular and off business hours.
*Ability to plan and execute service calls promptly and efficiently.
*Ability to "up sell" and promote Company offer to customer base and meet branch targets.
*Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly complete daily, weekly and monthly paperwork as required by Company policy.
*Follow company policies and procedures as required.
*Safely execute daily tasks using the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) according to Company policy and procedures. Report any unsafe acts when viewed or identified.
*Ability to perform site-specific hazard assessments as required by Company safety policies.
*Complete daily, weekly and monthly vehicle inspections as required and keep Company vehicles clean to promote the Company image standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
*G1 / G2 certifications required.
*Minimum 5 years experience in a previous Service Technician role as a multi-certificate holder will be an asset.
*Excellent customer service skills along with excellent communication and personal skills.
*Clean driving record.
