Job Description

Group Benefits Specialist

Our client in Northwest Edmonton is looking for a detail-oriented group benefits specialist to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be with managing the online database, preparing reports, and maintaining member records. Other duties include working with documents, marketing material, and providing administrative support to the team. If you are a team player with great time management and multi-tasking skills, this might be the opportunity for you!

* Permanent

* Monday to Friday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM


* Confirm changes made by clients, and make changes into online platform including Enrollments, Member Updates, Salary Changes and Terminations

* Ensure necessary paperwork has been received and is valid, before electronic and hard copies are scanned and stored

* File original documents as required and maintain filing system

* Open, scan and distribute incoming mail, as well as post and send outgoing mail

* Support internal team to ensure all members are successful in meeting time lines

* Ensures forms, brochures, newsletters, booklets, and contracts are always up to date and available online


* Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

* Exceptional people skills, with a genuine desire to support and help others

* Ability to work well within a team to ensure the common goal of exceptional service is always met
