Job Description

Manpower is currently seeking a Human Resource Business Partner with experience in Field Operations to fulfill a permanent position with a major petrochemical company in Sherwood Park, AB.

Specific Accountabilities:

* Help leaders identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities, structures and processes to execute the company's business strategies and objectives

* Coach managers on performance management, employee feedback, employee development, and compensation

* Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues of employees

* Provide expert coaching and advise to the employees on the company's HR policies, programs and procedures

* Facilitate conversations and programs to understand and address the employee's opinions, needs and concerns

* Assist with organizational change initiatives in support of business strategies and monitor the effect of business decisions on people

* Ensure HR services are provided according to internal client's needs, identify new opportunities for process improvement and implementation

* Identify talent issues before they impact the business

* Support line management in forecasting & planning talent requirements in line with function and business strategy

* Establish and maintain initiatives that drive career development, career road maps, and succession planning

* Support and ensure rollout of HR programs, policies and initiatives.

Required Education and Experience:

* Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or Business Administration

* 8+ years' experience in the field of HR, including minimum 4 years in an HR Business Partner role

* Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people and build long-term trustful relationships

* Ability to influence high level stakeholders and create results

* Ability to use discretion and sound judgement on a variety of people related issues

* Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

* Ability to support execution of company-wide HR initiatives with excellence in fast paced environment and committed to innovation and continuous improvement

* Some travel is required for this position
