What's in the job?

Customer Service Front Counter Person for a Heavy Equipment Rental Facility

Greet walk-in customers

Field incoming calls, and qualify customer requirements

Forklift experience highly preferred

Responsible for scheduling drivers and organizing the daily dispatch of all equipment for the branch

Coordinate transportation demands for equipment needs on a normal and emergency basis

Perform record keeping as needed

Maintain customer relations via phone, email, fax and making additions, cancellations, and changes regarding equipment location and other requests

Inform customers of unforeseen delays or problems immediately

Ensure accuracy of rental contract information prior to dispatching driver/actively seeking

Suggest equipment and supplies to meet customer needs

Determine equipment available for rental

Coordinate pickup and delivery of equipment as needed

Provide rental quotes for customers

Communicate and assist with Account Receivables; (Billing, pre-lien and collections)

Continue gaining knowledge of equipment specifications

Send daily dispatch and yard reports

Perform inventory control process

Inspect equipment and trucks for safety decals and compliance and ensure that equipment is in good working order.



What you bring to the job?

3-4 years' experience servicing heavy construction equipment

Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease

Organized, efficient, and results driven

Computer literacy: MS Office Suite proficient

Reliability & sense of urgency

Ability to work alone without supervision

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
