Job Description
Manpower is looking for a Network Service Technician to the join the team of a local manufacturing client.
What will you be doing?
* Support Microsoft Windows desktop and server technologies
* Consult with our clients and offer guidance on technology use, best practices, and trouble-shooting
* Dispatching repair parts to the customer's site and for sending returned parts to repair shops, maintaining records of the transactions
* Responsible for detailed documentation and follow-up with clients
* Coordination with support help provided by component vendors
* Communicate the need for escalation promptly
* Provide fast and friendly tech support to end-users, IT managers, and C-level executives
* Typical Week: 85% help desk, 10% server/network support, 5% training/meetings
What will make you successful?
* Bachelor's degree (or experience equivalent) in computer science or related technology field
* 3 years relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services
* Self-motivated professional with good communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record providing technical support to field service technicians in diagnosing and determining corrective actions for product failures
* Experience with Microcomputer hardware recognition, installation, and troubleshooting
Full time position, Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. $14-16/hour
